Betty decided to offer the collection to the public after Revi’s death. Betty and Lullu have named the museum after a much-loved husband and father. The RKK museum is a work of art in its own right. The museum, which covers 28,000 square feet, took three years to create. The four major religions of India—Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism—have equal importance on the mural, ivory collection, Kerala room, and things displayed in the ancient wing, which is a distinctive characteristic of the museum.
3.Krishnapuram Palace
Built during the reign of MarthandaVarma in the 18th century, Krishnapuram Palace is a notable landmark in Alleppey. The largest mural painting in God’s Own Country, known as ‘GajendraMoksham,’ is roughly 14x11ft and is housed in this 2-story palace built in traditional Kerala architecture.
